It reviewed the evolution of the business, the market situation and the main challenges for 2023
On February 1, MAPFRE RE held the Premiums Meeting in the auditorium of Fundación MAPFRE, being broadcast live to all employees.
During the meeting, several of its executives analyzed the evolution of the business over the past year, the figures, and the challenges facing the entity in 2023.
Esteban Tejera, Chairman of MAPFRE RE, was in charge of opening the meeting and the session was also attended by the President and CEO of MAPFRE S.A., Antonio Huertas, who commented on the market situation in a difficult context, spoke about MAPFRE’s new purpose and advanced figures, also explaining the three pillars of the Strategic Plan: Growth, Productivity and Efficiency, and Transformation. Finally, he urged MAPFRE RE to continue growing, and showed, once again, MAPFRE’s commitment to the Reinsurance Unit.
Next, the CEO of MAPFRE RE, Eduardo Pérez de Lema showed the figures for the closing of the 2022 financial year, encouraging to continue improving the results, also counting on MAPFRE’s support, and encouraging to continue generating greater profitability and better technical results in 2023.
Throughout the meeting, there were also presentations by several executives of the company, analyzing the market situation and the renewal campaign.
