She replaces Guillermo Espinosa, who is retiring after 14 years in the company
MAPFRE RE has appointed Carmen Bueso Alberdi as its new Regional Manager for LATAM and Member of the Management Committee, replacing Guillermo Espinosa, who is retiring after 14 years in the company.
Carmen Bueso holds a degree in Business Administration and Insurance, as well as in Actuarial Sciences from the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
Since 2006, she has held various positions of responsibility in MAPFRE RE, including the technical sub-directorate in Chile and the management of the MAPFRE Group Business Area.
Guillermo Espinosa has developed a successful professional career in the company, joining MAPFRE RE in 2009 to manage the Bogota office, and in 2016, assuming the regional management of MAPFRE RE for Latin America.
